Plateau Land & Wildlife Management provides a turn-key wildlife management plan for clients wishing to convert to a Wildlife Valuation. Each custom plan is created to meet the goals, land and budget of each landowner. We file all documents on your behalf and act as your representative to the county appraisal district. Plateau Land & Wildlife Management’s Wildlife Plan Service includes:

1. On-site assessment of your land for wildlife management potential and restoration possibilities. This visit always includes discussion, education, and advice.

(We prefer the client accompany our biologist to ensure the plan fits the landowner’s goals)

2. A 5-year Wildlife Management Plan, detailing recommended management practices that meet your goals and satisfies your county appraisal district’s requirements completed within 45 days of the site visit for your review and comment.

3. Two Custom-Made Maps of your property created over an aerial photo and a USGS topographic map with boundaries, important features, and wildlife management activities.

4. Research on the requirements of your local tax appraisal district, research on your property tax information, and filing of appropriate applications with your Wildlife Management Plan to the county appraisal district.

5. A Bound Copy Of Your Plan, supporting documents, and the filed applications stamped by your appraisal district.

6. A Resource Binder including an additional copy of your Plan, maps of property and management areas, recommendations for record keeping, and various reference materials on wildlife management.

7. Our Quarterly Newsletter, SEASONS, with articles, information, and suggestions for seasonally appropriate wildlife activities to keep you on track with your Plan.
