Wildlife Habitat Assessment Consultation

Are you interested in learning more about your property - its unique characteristics; the type of wildlife your land can support; how to improve the habitat for desired species or for game populations for hunting; the identity of your plants and their ecological value; or the most appropriate ways of managing your different habitat types to reach your goals?  Are you interested in becoming a more proficient land manager?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, an on-sight habitat assessment by one of Plateau’s master-level wildlife biologists would be beneficial to your land.

During an on-sight habitat assessment, one of Plateau’s biologists will walk your land with you, educating you about the characteristics of your land and the most appropriate ways of improving your habitats for your target species.  Our field discussions may range from restoring native grasses and wildflowers in degraded areas, how to improve habitat for deer or other game species such as turkey, quail and dove, the most appropriate way to control cedar or mesquite, and how to attract bluebirds and other songbirds.

Plateau’s biologists have significant field experience in many of the ecological regions of Texas including the Edwards Plateau, South Texas Brush Country, Post Oak Savannah, Blackland Prairie, and Central Mineral Basin. You can put our professional expertise to work for you.

Treating yourself to this educational experience will lead to an increased appreciation for your land.  In addition, the knowledge gained will help you become a more successful land & wildlife manager.  Contact Plateau Land & Wildlife Management today to schedule an on-site habitat assessment at a time that is convenient for you.
