Spend an afternoon with one of Plateau’s master-level wildlife biologists touring your land. This personal site visit is customized to the characteristics of your property, its wildlife, and you.
During this personal site visit you will hear, for example, specific recommendations for improving the quality of wildlife (game and non-game animals), and discuss land management principles and practices as they apply to your specific property. Your biologist will spend a minimum of two hours with you to answer questions about your land and identify its plant and wildlife. This site visit is a great opportunity to bring along friends and family so they can also learn about the land and habitat – a personalized nature tour on your own property.
With your land management goals and overall vision in mind, your Plateau biologist will explain affects of your land’s historical uses and offer specific recommendations for beneficial practices that fit into your plans, your budget, and your abilities. This is a service customized to the characteristics of your property, its wildlife, and you. If you have questions about whether the plans you have in mind are the best choice for your land, you and your biologist can discuss, on the spot, why a particular plan may or may not benefit your land.
Following the site visit, you will receive a concise, informative report. The site visit can also be used to create a habitat assessment, which is a more detailed analysis of your habitat with management recommendations specific to your needs.
