Nest Boxes
All nest boxes are constructed from high
quality western red cedar. This durable material weathers
well, blends into the natural environment, and will last for
years without painting or treatment. Most boxes also have a
convenient hinged side for checking on and cleaning out the
box. All boxes are built with the dimensions and hole size
recommended by Texas Parks & Wildlife and the National
Audubon Society. Our bat box is constructed of high grade
plywood and painted a neutral color. Its design and
construction follows the Bat Conservation International (BCI)
guidelines for Central Texas.
